I wanted to share my fireplace tonight. Fireplaces invoke such cozy feelings! And it was one of the reasons I fell in love with our new (to us) home.
I have a thing for candlesticks. Without actual candles on them. I know. Kind of weird. It completely perplexes my husband. On top of the small mercury glass candlestick, I have a teeny tiny white porcelain bird from Magnolia Market in Waco. "She's" looking up to Heaven, and seeing her makes me smile! My lantern is from Pottery Barn that I purchased with a gift card a couple of years ago. The grey vase is a recent buy from Hobby Lobby. It was originally in my bathroom, but I just moved it here yesterday. I think I dig it!
My most cherished piece on the mantle is my sign from an Etsy shop called "Between You and Me Signs." It's from a verse in a favourite Christian hymn of my family's--10,000 Reasons (Bless The Lord). I think it serves as such a wonderful reminder to always be thankful--no matter how hard the day was--thank Jesus for each and every blessing!
